*** THE CAMP CADET PROGRAM IS NOT A “BOOT CAMP” AND IS NOT A SOLUTION FOR DISCIPLINE PROBLEMS WITHIN YOUR HOME OR SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT***

This year's camp dates are July 25th through July 31st, 2010
Camp will be held at Outdoor Odyssey at Roaring Run
Applications are due May 15th, 2010
Cadets must report to camp between 1:00 pm and 1:45 pm on the first day of camp.

Applications can be picked up at the Somerset Barracks
or your Somerset County school guidance office.

Criteria: All youth ages 13-15 who reside WITHIN Somerset County.
Must be 13 by the start of camp and can’t turn 16 prior to or during camp.

All youth who have an interest in police work or a related area,
but not exclusive of other areas of interest.

All youth who are willing to participate in a variety of physical fitness activities
as well as learn and abide by military discipline.

***NOTE: In order to graduate from the program,the youth MUST complete
a two mile run and CPR training.

Youth that have any negative contact with law enforcement will not be accepted.
Once at camp, hazing, lying, cheating or stealing will not be tolerated and the
appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the PA Crimes Code.
